More bad press for RR

Submitted by mgoblahhh on

Rosenberg was on the Herd this afternoon addressing the West Virginia allegations.  In a nutshell he said this solidifies that RR knew he was breaking the rules.  He also had to point out that RR keeps saying that hopefully all of the drama goes away and that RR has no one to blame but himself for all of the drama.   This kind of shit hurts the program because it’s broadcasted nationally and of course Collin had to sensationalize it and praise Rosenberg for all of his wonderful work.  Can’t someone just make him go away !

sports.  Even so-called followers ... when they win only ... get the picture.  I can't wait to not let them on the "bandwagon" when this gets rolling.  Go Blue!!!!

It's Funny how this kind of stuff is viewed in other parts of the country, down here in SEC country the motto is if you ain't  cheatin' you ain't tryin'.

There are several NCAA probes (I think 7 or 8 ) going on in the south at this time, they are just not a big deal.

I forgot to put my Sirius box in my work car today and listened to Herd for a few minutes.  He was talking about the Harbaugh brothers and mentioned Jim Harbaugh as the most likely next coach of Michigan.  I turned it off and went back to the office to get my Sirius.

His interview with Rosenberg turned to the problems Michigan faces if (when?) Harbaugh replaces Rodriguez.  He thought that Michigan's current offensive personnel will have a hard time fitting into a Harbaugh offense, and, uh, wouldn't that be another setback for the program?  Cowherd's question was so breathakingly stupid that Rosenberg gave a little laugh, and said, "I think that's about three steps into the future," or words to that effect.

I think Rosenberg had to have been a little embarassed to be sharing air time with the guy.

Of course, that embarassment is a little easier to take when the program host is saying that you, Mike Rosenberg, are one of the nation's leading college football experts and that you are the Detroit Free Press' college football writer.

Not to get all political or anything, but stuff like this makes the media terrifying for me. If they are able to screw with stories this much with something as simple and relatively low-key as college football, just imagining how messed up the rest of the news with real scandal is really freaks me out. I mean, you always assume that any media is biased, but at times like this when you gape into the maw of true insanity, you gotta wonder how deep the rabbit hole goes.

You are spot on. The thing that also frightens me is the fact that most sheeple eat the bullshit that is being spoon fed to them without doing any research and formultating their own opinion. Nobody thinks for themselves anymore. People figure if some blowhard on the TV, the radio, or on print says it's true, then they believe it.

I want Rich Rodriguez pitching to Rosenberg at Ashley Schaeffer's dealership ...

"I'm Rich Rodriguez. I'm still the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines. And you're f--kin' out!"

Of course Collin asked Rosenberg why his expose of blatant over practicing of players was so erroneous as to warrant a retraction?  No?

He should have.

This is all embarrassing for sure, but let's remember what we know, not what dim wits and haters think they know.  Ours is gold, theirs is as valuable as pond run off.

Everyone who says the on-field success will change the perception: you are correctomundo.  Let's get this season started for pete's sake.
