Zavier Simpson's father working to fix his son's jump shot this off-season
Maybe his dad and him were thinking they would do whatever they could to get him a scholarship to a big time school and program.
I am fine with his offense as long as he continues to be an elite defender and team leader.

Props to Zavier and his pops. If he is an outside threat (in D Walt vein) this team runs deep next March.
Just have him wear a kilt when playing! He'll have no problem getting to the basket.
My guess is every M player works on something(s) to get better in the off seasons.
Coach B most likely meets with them and tells them things to work on.
Right - that’s what must be the case. Everyone can work shooting, strength and endurance on their own. Good to hear how Simpson is going about it.
Good luck...
I coached my son's baseball up until he was 12. At 12 I felt it better to turn him and his teammates over to someone else before they reached high school. Even after i was no longer their official coach I would assist with hitting.
During my son's senior season whenever he had a bad game at the plate he would ask me to go to the cage with him. It was very special to me knowing he chose not to purse baseball after college and those few times remaining would be our last baseball moments.
I just mentioned to my wife the other day i miss playing catch with him.
My only issue is Q had every opportunity to fix Zavier’s jumper all the years leading up to this year. He shoots a set push shot. That isn’t going to get it done.
Z is a hell of a defender and a great finisher around the rim. As some have said he needs a pull up jumper in the worst way. If he doesn’t develop one he is no different than Tum Tum in regards to how he will be defended.
If Simpson develops a jumper he would be the best PG in the country.
It will be great to see if this works for Z’s shooting.
It's truly May now.
when all those MLB stars showed up for the local team as ringers and Homer was still the hero?
That was Awesome...
But it would certainly be nice if he was a better shooter. At least from the free throw line.
