If Ward keaves, MSU is going to struggle next year. Bubble team. Recruiting class is good (if us and MSU switched classes, I’d have roughly the same feelings about next year). But a bit raw.
If Ward returns, MSU might have he best offensive duo in the conference. Not a great team but that duo can win them some games. Especially considering the conference won’t be much better, if any at all, next year.
Talking about them gives them some relevance.

Not even close - Bamba. I think MSU was fine for Jackson from a stylistic point. He had no problem looking good, his only issue was being on the floor. As for Bamba, you knew he wasn’t going to develop in any way at Texas. In fact, I’m surprised his stock didn’t plummet.
Some teams gonna have themselves a big man who can haul in 4 rebounds a game and hammer down put back dunks while poaching blocks on players he’s not guarding!
