should be able to destroy that half assed duke zone defense.  plus, they have a rim protector on D.  my money would be on kansas in that one, though i hate both teams.

EAST: Villanova can certainly shoot the lights out. However, I haven't been all that impressed with their defense. After our game with Houston (though I do think they were actually a very good team), I'm left wondering, what if Villanova has just that one cold night? They're scary, but if the offense isn't all there, they seem beatable. Meanwhile, Texas Tech looked pretty impressive against Purdue and they are defensively very sound. Then again, how would this have gone with Isaac Haas playing tonight? Maybe Tech still wins, but likely by no more than 5 points. I don't see the Raiders beating Nova, but I actually think this could be an exciting game. MIDWEST: Most of me says that Duke is simply more talented and better coached than Kansas overall. But what some people may not realize about Duke is that, although they have these assets and are a great rebounding team, they also have turned the over a little bit more often than opponents. I think Duke wins this one, but I generally have a hard time seeing a team turning the ball over as often or moreso that opponents win a national championship. Kansas? Honestly, they're good, and I can't put my finger on it, but I just don't see them going much farther. SOUTH: Raise your hands if you expected this! Didn't think so. I have absolutely no idea what to make of this game, except to say that whatever opinion I have of the outcome will probably go the other way. Therefore, I'll just say this: I am pulling for Loyola and my heart says they win - but my head says K-State wins, even though they have the worst rebounding margin of any team left in the tournament (they get outrebounded by I think like 3 boards a game or something). WEST: Can I just say, that I just fully believe that we will win! FSU is decent and has two guys 7 feet or taller, but I just don't think they match up that well with us, nor have they faced a defense quite like ours. I don't know that we will shoot as well as we did Thursday, but what we do will be more than enough to get the job done. And frankly, that's all I can ask for as I look forward to rooting them on in LA! GO BLUE!!! It's tempting to do so, but I refuse to look ahead...one game at a time!
