Max Wittwer, a 2018 QB from Utica, announced this morning that he is committing as a preferred walk on. Per 247, he was previously committed to Air Force and also had an offer from Eastern Michigan.

Can be the scout team qb if we have any option teams on the calendar, also could fill that roll when practicing for teams that use run first QBs.

I thought the same exact thing. McCaffrey helped run the scout team immensely due to his versatility. Same as O’Korn 2 years ago

He could be getting a nice need-based aid package from the University depending on how much his parents make. But yeah, I don't know if I would now, with tuition as high as it is, when I could go somewhere for free. At least he's getting a world class education.
