Would love to see more 4-5 star guys, but rankings don't always tell the whole story. Mattison has generated some pretty nasty DLs since he's been here. Hurst, Winovich, Wormley, Henry. all of those guys were three stars. Now Hurst is potentially a top-10 pick, Winovich is a Day 2 or very early Day 3 guy, and Wormley went in the third round last year. Henry went in the fifth. All of them will be playing in the league, or already are.
If Mattison sees something in a kid, I have zero reason to doubt him about it. He may need some molding when he gets here, but he's learning from one of the best.

Harbaugh said Winovich has made his decision about next year(Chase will reveal it himself soon). We just offered a new DE out of the blue. I am doing the math here. Would think this points towards Chase going pro. And I cannot blame him for that, too many injuries in this sport.
