Nico Collins snaps last night?

Submitted by WeimyWoodson on

So last night during the game I thought I saw Nico Collins coming off the field and then saw on Twitter Ace say that he was put in the game.  Did any one notice if he played more then that one snap?

Wondering why at this point he was put in (doesn't make sense to just say they need to try someone else).  Since Michigan doesn't have any elite recievers committed for the 2018 class I thought it would make sense to keep Nico and Oliver redshirted.  Just another one of those curious things.

I didn't see this anywhere else on the board, so sorry if I missed it.

Just saying game experience is invaluable in building for next year. For Collins. For Peters. For anyone looking to play and be an important part of next year. Peters has been taking reps all year in practice. Nico too. Let ‘em play and learn. I know we need a new offense but this season is done. Kaput. And I’m not talking about so-called fans turning off their TV sets in favor of Saturday museum visits and movie matinees — although that is likely to happen, all to the chagrin of the TV networks. I’m talking about what is best for the youngest team in the FBS. Give ‘’em a Wisconsin and an Ohio State game to play in. JOK won’t be llaying football for anyone much longer anyway.

Would like to see Peters play the entire second half vs Rutgers ... put pressure on him and make him perform. Let's see what he has. I like JOK but it is time to start building for next year. Also, would like to see more of Collins and Martin. We need to get Ruiz and Stueber some PT as well. Would like to see this offensive unit on the field for the second half vs Rutgers: QB - Peters RB - Walker WR1 - Collins WR-2 - DPJ Slot - Perry TE - Gentry LT - Cole LG - Bredesen C - Ruiz RG - Onwenu RT - Stueber
