This will be the repository for your thoughts and hot takes on the offense in our game against Air Force.

This should be fun.

I'm honestly disappointed. No reason to look that pathetic on offense. The play calling was atrocious. Not a fun game to watch in the least bit. /imdrunk

Is that DPJ is gaining some confidence.  If that happens, and Black is healthy, things could get pretty scary in the passing game.  Assuming of course Speight is at least average.  Defense will continue to be excellent.  The offense is simply puzzling.

The OL isn't great, but they aren't awful. Five or six guys aren't going to look good trying to block seven or eight guys who are rushing because they don't respect the QB. This has been the issue, with varying magnitude, for a whole lot of years now it seems.

The simplest fix is a QB who keeps the defense honest. It's puzzling to me that we have three Harbaugh QBs on the team and none of them are deemed better than Speight, who sure looks like he hit his ceiling last year and maybe all the "he was injured" stuff wasn't relevant.

The rubber hits the road next week.

I'm holding onto the hope (rope?) that sometimes it takes an offense, especially an O line, a half a season to come together.  Let's hope the play calling improves too as the season wears on.  I can't imagine a Harbaugh coached offense with 4 and 5-star athletes all over the field will be mediocre throughout a whole season.

The scary thing is Harbaughs loyalty to Drevno. If shit really does hit the fan and we lose 2-3 games because of the play calling/lack of development - would Harbaugh consider moving in another direction? I don't really think he would.
