Harbaugh Explains Why The Will Wear Maize

Submitted by CarlosSpicyweiner21 on
It is to celebrate the anniversary of when the school first decided to make Maize and Blue their official colors. Truthfully I wonder what Jim thought when the higher ups told him to say this was the reason and to not just say it was because Nike/Jordan Brand backed a massive truck full of cash to the schools back door.

The Uniform will make each player look like an over sized yellow jacket bee, which is fine with me. As long as the kids sting Florida like yellow jackets for 60 mins and give those gators a beating like nothing they have ever seen before, then I'm fine with the uniform choice.

I couldn't care less about the aesethics of the uniforms. I'm more concerned about the quality of play from the team. They could wear pink for all I care as long as they execute and play lights out.

I thought the solar eclipse was last week.  I will need to get my eclipse glasses out of the trash to watch the game on Saturday.  Serioulsy though, just win the game.

Things are the way they are in the "Uniformz" world, so we all just have to deal with it.. . .

Actually, if those bright yellow (maize) jerseys help Wilton spot DPJ, Tarik Black or whoever else in the Florida EZ, I'm all for 'em.

Know what these maize uniforms accomplished?  It has Michigan being talked about outside the BIG10 - which can have an effect on recruiting.  It's not always about whether everyone likes them - but about whether everyone is talking about them.

That being said (and I am a UM fan in SEC coutry - Alabama to be exact), I like the look - I THINK - but they aren't very traditional looking.  Down here people seem to be talking about them a lot.  That matters, right?
