If Hutch gets another world series, has to be her. No question. A woman to complement Bo. After her, I dont think we need any more statues.

If he stays long enough, he will surpass his mentor Bo. And somewhere Bo will be smiling and enjoying every Saturday

While I don't think you're wrong, I don't think he's the most deserving of who should get one first. Red and Hutch have him beat by several country miles on that one right now.

I'd be partial to one of Marques Slocum astride his fuck lion. It would be tasteful, and kids love lions.

Surprised there isn't one of Yost somewhere already, considering he made Michigan athletics what they are today.
As far as who are the most deserving, Red and Hutch easily. Both are among all-time greats in their respective sports. I don't think it'll be too long before we see a statue of Red outside Yost, and a statue of Hutch outside Alumni Field.
Harbaugh might one day, but he'll have to win a slew of conference titles and at least one national title before he's deserving in my mind. If Beilein ever wins it all, they'll definitely put up one of him. He's brought Michigan basketball back from the dead.

Actually, I think Yost made Michigan athletics what it was 50-100 years ago. DON CANHAM made Michigan athletics what it is today. (Not saying he should get a statue -- the natatorium is fine; but we should recognize his multitude of accomplishments.)

I think Lloyd represents the university and its community very well. I would put him in the conversation with Yost and Hutch.
If there ever was to be a player, it would have to be Charles Woodson or Gerald Ford.
