Braden #48
Smith #83
Kalis #124
Stribling #127
Thomas #160
Clark #186
About 100 picks left...
Braden looks to be in a safer zone. Smith, Kalis, Stribling right there on the bubble. Thomas and Clark look like they'll be uFAs.
Draft pick numbers from a few conferences:
American: 10 drafted
MAC: 7 drafted
Big 12: 7 drafted
Conference USA: 6 drafted
One of these is not supposed to be like the others
Short (5-9 or 5-10), but blazing fast if you can believe the combine 40 time of 4.34. Four-year starter there. Intriguing 5th round pick.
Jeremy Clark to the J-E-T-E* JETS! JETS! JETS!
So nice to see this after he was carted off the field last fall.
I love that Clark was taken, but what's going on with Stribling? There's a reason that Lewis had so many targets this year, after the previous AA year he had. Strib was pretty good out there holding down everything that didn't get run at Lewis...
Low bench press is all I can think of...can't play press coverage, doesn't tackle extremely well, but would be a decent find for anyone who'll let him play off the LOS. And he can't really help you on special teams, because he's not ultra fast, isn't physical, etc.
Value at that point...kid could've been taken in the 4th or 5th round (to a team that needed a QB) and no one really would've said anything.
Whoever heard of getting a value QB that late in the draft?

Braden is 20th best availale, De'Veon is 43rd.
Pat O'Connor, DE. And, whoever's grading these selections for CBS this late in the draft gave the Lions a B+ rating for this pick.
HAHAHA Chad Kelly as Mr. Irrelevant?
1. Love not wasting it on some random kid with no shot - take it seriously
2. NFL cringe when you have to close with a kid with character issues
3. Chad Kelly to DENVER?!!
