#4 Washington - #1 Bama Open Thread

Submitted by NJblue2 on

Figured I start one for this game. Rooting for Washington and Clemson today, but obviously will probably be disappointed.

Go Huskies.

We will too, only more so. For sure Harbaugh wants to beat OSU, but he sees the target beyond that. We're going to start beating OSU, and we'll be positioned to challenge AL. That's the kind of team we aspire to be and as we get to that level it's going to be a lot tougher sledding for the Buckeyes as a matter of course.

Looking at that fair catch by W just now, with Bama player up so halitosis close, I wonder, should receiver just step forward a touch to bump into him & take 15yds?

Alabama has just never needed a very good QB to win National Championships because of their offensive line, RB and defensive recruiting. None of their recent QBs have done much in the NFL. It's almost hard to believe they've done so well without one single elite QB. Most schools are begging to find one to help them win games. Heck, even us.

I agree and it why other teamshate us so much

You have the same fans every year, talk michigan up to be the best, we go 10-3, same fans say thats a great seaon, same fans get on others for wanting more, repeat every year

I want Harbaugh to acually turn Michigan into the powerhouse many fans think we are. I want to be in the Alabama, Clemson, OSU category of contending each year instead of pretending

Solomon and Nico are Michigan vs Bama recruits. Bama wins with Michigan losing could easily be influential enough to cause them to go to bama

As well for Najees flipping sake

GO HUSKIES!!!!!

I highly disagree. These top players want to win. They see Michigan lose pitifully and then see Bama win a championship, that hype could easily sway them if they are on the fence

For example, Najee seeing Michigans Oline meltdown against FSU vs seeing Alabama pound the ball against UW with a functioning Oline could easily keep him staying put in Bama

Kids are easily manipulated and influenced by single events
