Nice Presidential Snub
Obama's extremely risk-averse bracket has an Elite Eight with every 1 and 2 seed, except Ohio State.

I would say that tactic is a pretty safe bet with low risk, but should be 75 percent correct.
I voted for that man.
and don't vote democrat you don't have a heart, if you are old and don't vote republican you don't have a brain.
before you neg the poor guy to death, that's a quote from Winston Churchill.
And Churchill was a badass.
It's a Churchill quote only if you drop the American political parties and drop in liberal and conservative, but point about Churchill being a bad ass well taken.
it was from someone famous sorry I didn't give him the credit he deserves. We need more Churchills, is there one "bad ass" now in US politics, other than Sarah Palin? (I wouldn't vote for her but she does shoot moose, while most politicians only carry a gun for a photo opp, see John Kerry, or ride on a tank, can't remember that guys name but will never forget that photo). That tank shot guy was when I was a democrat and I was smart enough then to know that election was over.
you can neg him.
there goes Ohio, back into the red column.
His advisers won't like that pick one bit.
The President wants the support of the Georgetown graduates who are much more likely to make valuable contributions to society than OSU grads.
Ohio State graduates are valuable in our society. Someone has to clean up public places and deliver pizzas. And call me "sir".
Well, The Only Colors (a quality MSU blog) has OSU has the most overrated 2 seed by KRACH ranking.
Remember, he picked Kentucky as a "great team" just before they lost to South Carolina. I believe that was their first game as a number one.
Please list undefeated national champions in NCAA basketball.
it's not unheard of:
San Francisco, 1956
North Carolina, 1957
UCLA, four times, 1964, 67, 72, 73
Indiana, 1976
Exactly. And those aren't the only great teams in the history of the sport, right?
I'd forgotten about San Francisco. Wow.
They won in 1955 as well.
The only comparable feat is Larry Bird and Indiana State making it undefeated to the championship game in 1979 before losing.
Michigan faced two undefeated teams in the Final Four in Philadelphia.
M knocked off undefeated Rutgers in the first game Saturday, but lost to conference rival Indiana in the Final on Monday.
You mean Obama didn't declare that the gov't would decide who wins the tournement?
Careful, you are treading on the edge of the neg cliff.
why? I'm really just wondering, not trying to start anything. Thanks!
MGoRules - no politics. The bracket counts as sports, picks count as sports, policy is a no-no

"What's the offtopic policy?
In the offseason, offtopic posts are somewhere between tolerated or encouraged. During the season it would be nice if they were kept to a minimum. What counts as on- and off- topic?
ONTOPIC
Anything Michigan sports related
Anything related to other Big Ten teams or upcoming opponents
Stuff about the blog itself
University of Michigan topics that don't relate to sports
GRAY AREA
College sports in general
Ann Arbor

Politics"
My bad for the comment, as for the why question, think it's better to keep that one to myself, will brush up on my blog rules to follow, still a rookie here though been reading for quite some time.
I thought it was gummint.
I stand corrected, good catch.
...owns the socialized domestic auto industry would probably go over real well with this audience. Care to give it a whirl?
We've basically had chalk brackets since the random George Mason year, and even that was pretty true to form. While the first rounds give you some nice surprises, it does seem that most Elite 8s include few real surprises.
And he couldn't even spell Syracuse correctly...
