I haven't heard much about Singleton and Michigan in recent weeks, but with things heating up with Willie Gay, maybe Singleton ends up being a casualty... Willie Gay is the better prospect, IMO.

A casualty of what? Sam has a gut feel UM leads for Gay, Singleton, and Anthony. It's pretty clear Mason is on his way to FB. Sam said the staff wants more speed at LB.

Gay staying South after all the talk would sting. Singleton is a very good prospect but he reminds me a lot of a Hobson type (a bit smaller?). He seems much more in the mold of a good LB that you wouldn't want out there covering anyone. In the modern game you can be a big thumper that can't really run or a smaller guy that runs like a FS but those in the middle tend to be liabilities in half your games.

Several guys are early enrollees, so we'd know right around Christmas time. I think Ruiz, DPJ, Thomas, and Harris at a minimum are announcing in December. Could be others too.

I'm not the only one with an obsession with Ballz.

1 think I will note, the Najee Harris crystal ball is from someone not associated with Michigan or Alabama. She's a Clemson team writer so I think it's probably a crystal ball of someone picking a realistic longshot in order to get more points.
