Marlin Jackson Signs with the Eagles
Seems like a good destination for him, he can play safety for them and have a good chance to start for them. Two year deal.

Hopefully the former Wolverine regains form and doesn't let his knees get in his way.
late in the day....I read that as "sings with the Eagles"
No doubt he'd contribute to the backup vocals on Hotel California.
Vastly preferable to "sleeps with the fishes" though.
It's funny how late in day differs from real world, and college world.
Blah tell me about it. I'm often mixing my days each week with waking up at like 11 am for class, and then other times at 6:30 am for work. Today is one of those 6:30 days. It's late.
Great for him, but as a Colts fan I was really hoping to see him back in a blue uniform this fall. Best of luck to Marlin.
Meet UM Indy. Seems like we have a couple of things in common?
Reunited with Avant. I agree that he should start because he can play multiple spots.
Just about a month or so ago there was a blood drive at work and they gave out footballs with Colts logo and pic of Marlin Jackson along with his signature.
awesome for him and michigan. presuming he avoids the injury bug that plagues him, the eagles D is constantly talked about throughout the sports networks.
Are trying to stock pile former Wolverines. Seems like a pretty good strategy.
Avant is solid (bringing honor back to the #81 Eagles jersey) and Jon Runyan was a perennial Pro Bowler.
He still has a lot of talent, his knees just got to last him a couple more years.
is named Macho.
That's sort of awesome.
He really had some tough breaks with the Colts, so I hope the fresh start goes well for him.
Is it Macho Harris? IIRC he was very close to committing to Michigan before choosing Va Tech.
Oh wait, I've never been to Macho Grande...
but what kind of 40 did Marlin run compared to Donovan? It occurred to me that might be a decent comp. Guessing based on draft position it was sub 4.6 though.
OT...

Cause a thread about a former Michigan player can't be off-topic...
