No, wd, that isn't why they cost more. The Jordan logo is why they cost more. People pay for the feeling of exclusivity. You will literally try to rationalize anything at all having to do with Michigan. Do you honestly wonder why people give you so much shit? You are such a fanboy.

In this one particular instance, you're right. I read right over the part where you said the brand is why people want it, but you did also say the other thing which was what triggered my comment.

Like the gear, but along with just about almost anything Michigan/Nike, I cannot afford it.  I guess I will have to continue to wear my knock off  name brand Michigan gear.

Reminds me of a Michigan/MSU game I went to back in the 1990's where a fellow UM fan was making fun of me, because my Michigan pull over had a Reebok logo on it and not a Nike swoosh.  I said to him that it still says Michigan across the chest and not Michigan State.  Cut me some slack dude, not all of us make six figures and are able to afford the Nike stuff.

So is Nike/Jordan ever going to make a Ladies cut polo shirt? There are a number of alumnae at the office that are much annoyed by this (Adidas had them - and Nike makes women's golf apparel, so there's really no excuse).

Unfortunately, Jordan doesn't make women's apparel.  I was sort of hoping they'd make an exception since they decided to be Michigan's official apparel maker (and Michigan is clearly a coed school) but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen.

It even seems like all the womens team apparel is made by Nike, not Jordan i.e. the cheerleaders jackets, the pullovers the softball team wore Saturday, etc.

Is there any Jordan women's apparel yet? My wife found some Nike gear but hasn't seen any Jordan for women. I noticed the cheerleaders uniforms are Jordan (men and women) so maybe soon?

basically called me out for not wearing nike gear.

I explained that when the addidas gear went I on sale I purchased it...  One dude was particularily dueschey, he was the tell everyone I went to michigan kind of guy.  

maybe I just ran into a couple assholes, but it was frustrating.
