The most interesting part of this piece was how poorly Kalis graded out last year. 197 out of 212 returning OGs. Yikes

I can believe it. I would routinely see Kalis on roller skates or whiffing on a block. Through 2 games, against Hawai'i and UCF mind you, he has been a new man. Drevno>Funk

Great thing about having an NFL-experienced coaching staff is the ability to adjust and teach. Any "mistakes" will be worked on. And they have these players looking for improvement all the time. GO BLUE!!

This has been an area of strength for Speight thus far, as although he clearly doesn’t have prototypical arm strength, he has still been efficient when throwing the ball longer than 10 yards from the line of scrimmage. Thus far he has completed 11 of 20 throws at least 10 yards through the air for 250 yards, four touchdowns and an interception.
His only interception was picked off about 9 yards from the line of scrimmage. Why is it included here?
