Mark Stoops has a $12,000,000 buyout clause in his contract. 30 straight losses to UF. Kentucky won't fire him this year because of that exorbitant sum.

The AD should get shitcanned over agreeing to that.

Anyone see anything interesting going on right now.  Looks like Alabama is going to cover.  I see IU is up 27 on Ball State.  Good for them.  And the Rutgers final isn't embarrasing.

There is a literal cloud of dust coming up after every play in Evanston. It looks like NW is going to need some of our STs to survive this. Terrible clock management by Fitzgerald, not using his timeouts on defense. He's banking everything on a missed FG.

ISU beats Northwestern 9-7. I would be very upset if I were a NW fan. Fitzgerald saved his two timeouts to ice the kicker, rather than give his team a minute to answer. Dumb.

Thorson 17-41 for 191 yards -- a 4.7 yard/attempt clip.

Team rushing 86 yards on 31 carries (2.8 yards/carry).  Justin Jackson 11 carries for 39 yards (3.5 yards/carry).

According to the annoucning team, a whole class got an A b/c one of them threw a paper airplane into a trash can.  I assume it was from the top of the first level at the Horseshoe but still.

And by the way, Tulsa's quarterback is horrible.

Very unimpressive game by the suckeyes. Tulsa isn't that good and were giving ohio all they could handle early. Then gave the game away IMHO. Suckeyes defense is very vulnerable. Samuels is a pretty good player. He won't impose his will like Zeke Elliot did on Michigan though. Neither will Weber. I can see Peppers and crew shadowing Barrett and their read option and destroying him many times. That pressure is going to force them into quick throws(which Barrett isn't worth a shit accuracy wise) or giving the ball away all the time. No one ever goes after him and it'll drastically shake his game. He isn't that great of an athlete and isn't that great of a passer. Get about 10 good knock downs on him and their passing game will be nothing. In conclusion Samuels will be the main guy to stop come November. He's not untouchable. In a logical world, Michigan would move up in the polls ahead of the suckeyes after today.

I think UCF will finish better than Tulsa but Hawaii is the worst of the group (obviously none are world beaters). My point is that we hadn't seen backups at that point in the game, and it was done. Meyer's a stats guy and he was pushing for style points in addition to Barrett's potential Heisman chase.
