If you had to choose to attend one game this season:

Submitted by FatGuyTouchdown on

So the title is pretty self explanatory, if you had to choose one Michigan Football game to attend this season, which game would you choose? I'm looking to attend one game, and I'm down to Indiana, AT Michigan State, or AT Ohio State. For reference I've been to several Michigan football games, but never in the Big House. Answers need not be those three games.

Sorry if this clogs up the board, just looking for some expert advice.

The game @ state is the one for me. I'm expecting to see a lot of maize and blue in the stands on Oct. 29th. Gonna be so fun to see their fans leaving the stadium early knowing their run is over.

Rationale:

1-The rivalry and championship games are on the road

2-Tix should be cheap despite

3-It's Homecoming and the celebratory atmosphere in crisp autumn air A^2 will be amazing

4-Football will likely open up a can of whoopass on the Illini early with MSU in view and then just hold on, at which point you can party early and enjoy A^2

5-TV is gonna have all the big games, at your house or local drinking establishment you don't have to deal with obnoxious fans for the opponents

"Irrationale":

#1#1#! -You absolutely must attend the sewer in Columbus - that's gonna be your most memorable game experience period, stated by a man who apparently doesn't know how to use periods

Nobody is choosing the correct game. You need to go watch us beat our arch rival at their place. Rutgers game is where it's at!!

has always been Notre Dame, because:

  1. It was always a game with huge importance
  2. The weather was almost always great

And it was always better than Ohio State because:

  1. If we lost, there was the entire season to redeam ourselves
  2. If we won, THERE WAS MUCH MORE FOOTBALL!!!

As much as I loved the Ohio State game, it marked the end of the football season and that made it (1) suck if we lost or (2) bittersweet if we won.  Regardless, for me after that game there is always a deep sense of loss.

Football season is too short, and Ohio State marks the end (death) of the season.  Notre Dame was almost alway a great, colossal matchup, but afterwards, there was always MORE GAMES.

I will be there.

I will bet 500$ on michigan.

I will watch us win by double digits.

I will declare the end of Spartan relevance.

Then I am going to OSU...

Home game def Wisconsin, i think it will be a better game than people think also, I believe it is our best home game this  year.

Away game, have to say Iowa, IDK why but I've always wanted to go to Kinnick seems like a cool stadium to watch a game.

There should be no hesitation to invade the toilet bowl, as long as you leave the kids at home. Belligerent truck drivers and waitresses should not scare you. Wear Maize and Blue, cheer loudly, and never back down.
