Michigan Stadium will host 7 HS football games from August 25-27.
It's being called Battle of the Big House.
Warning: Freep link.
Games-
- Brighton vs Detroit East English Village
- Walled Lake Western vs Farmington
- Kalamazoo Central vs St. Joseph
- Clarkston vs Lapeer
- Novi Detroit Catholic Central vs Sterling Heights Stevenson
- East Kentwood vs Farmington Hills Harrison
- Pioneer vs Muskegon
Is it a league full of midget players?
Or just a tiny league as in one team scrimmiging itself 8 times?
Now by the one team do they mean the local homeless?
Any time you can showcase Ann Arbor and UofM, and in this case the Big House, to potential students and their families is a good thing. It will be all over social media in Michigan high schools when it happens. The next step is adding games between national powers who travel across the country to play each other for potential matchups on TV.
Someone get on a conference call with the NCAA and the MHSAA! This must be banned!

When did Detroit Catholic Central become "Novi Detroit Catholic Central?"
Right after it stopped being Redford Detroit Catholic Central in 2005. Shamrock Nation will make a good showing in the big house. Hopefully notable CC players Messner and Mike Martin show up.
