OT: Talking Cars Tuesday

Submitted by JeepinBen on

Back on Tuesday this week, hooray! There was a bit of confusion about last week, but I'll try to make the thread topic a bit clearer.

So, this week, you get to pick 3 cars for your hypothetical garage, from 3 decades (1 car per decade). Which ones do you pick? Will anyone pick a Malaise Era car? For Example, my garage:

  • 70's - 1978 CJ-8 Scrambler (My family hauler/rock crawler)
  • 80's - 1987 Porsche 959 (my everything)
  • 00's - 2008 Audi RS4 Avant (my dad-mobile/winter car)

Anyone taking the Beast of Torino? A Model T? An old Caddy?

Tough one!

60's: Cobra 289. (I'd do a cobra Daytona if those are allowed)
80's: Omni GLHS (nostalgia pick)
10's: Wrangler Rubi

Caveat: I have to be able to keep my 500 Awd to cart the kids around.

Here goes:

1965 Lincoln Continental convertible

80's: Magnum PI's Ferrari 308 GTS, but only if I can get the ROBIN1 vanity plate

My mother in law's '59 VW Beetle...love that car and am thankful she lets me drive it around

I would go with:

'50s: 1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa

'60s: 1967 Mercedes 300SEL 6.3

Now: 2017 BMW 750i

I really wanted to pick a 1957 M-B 300SL, but only one per decade...

50's - 1959 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder SWB

60's - 1967 Shelby 427 Cobra SC or 1968 Ford GT 40

70's - 1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona

80's - Lamborghini Countach

90's - 1993 McLaren F1

00's - 2004 Koenigsegg CCX

10's - 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder

Take your pick of the decade(s).

I figure the talking cars thread is the best place to ask this. Does anyone know where I could get a custom logo made to replace my Ford logo on the rear of my 04 F150? I want to get one to replace it that either says Go Blue or Michigan. My truck and the logo I want to replace are pictured here:
