Mark Dantonio Violates New NCAA Rule Prohibiting Sub-Tweeting of Recruits

Submitted by EastCoast Esq. on

Michigan State just received a commitment from IMG TE Jack Camper. Following that commitment, Dantonio sent out the following tweet:

Congrats on Ascending from the Sunshine State to the Spartans. Will set up Camp permanently in EL next Jan. 2017. #V4MSU!

As noted by Baumgardner, this is likely a violation of the new NCAA rule against subtweeting recruits. I personally think that State should be given the death penalty for this egregious violation of a very serious, not stupid at all rule.

If Harbaugh were guilty of this I'm sure we can all think of a few fanbases that would be losing their shit over it right now. As it is, though, I'm sure one of them will still find it in them to bash away anyway.

After Michigan has spring camp at IMG, all of the IMG players are committing to MSU and will be in their camp up north, because they are selling results. Right?
