A few that I use on a regular basis:
- Trigger: good app for setting up rules to automate functions on your phone. I paid for the "premium" version (it's like $3) to be able to set up geofences, but I have rules set up for arriving/leaving work, arriving/leaving home, and other time-based rules where I know I want my phone set to silent or something. It's a clean UI and fairly intuitive if you can create simple if/then statements.
- Trade Rumors: started as MLB Trade Rumors but now I guess it covers all sports. I still only use it to keep up with the latest going on in baseball and with the Tigers.
- Wikipedia: nuff said.
- Fandango: I use this every time I want to go to the movies. They've made a lot of improvements to their UI and the app's functionality.
- Textra: texting app.
- PF Voicemail+: best free Visual Voicemail app out there, in my opinion.
- AcDisplay: mimics the Motorola notification popups. Allows me to view/interact with notifications without having to turn the screen totally on.

buddy of mine asked me to post as a reply - he is the U of M campus rep for a mobile ticketing app based in San Francisco called Gametime. They have all the sporting events in the Detroit area as well most major league cities.
you can download it here (gametime.co/mich) and then from the share page used the code MICH10 for $10 off (I used it for Tigers tickets all summer, there are usually like $7 nose bleed seats).

FotMob: Soccer Scores (for the three of you who like soccer) and some audio of live games
Untappd: Tracking beers you've had.
Waze/Google Maps: I use both and check both for traffic quite a bit.
Stubhub
Kindle: Both for books I've purchased but also for the "Send to Kindle" Chrome extension, which saves articles in PDF and emails them to your Kindle. Pretty handy.
Feedly (for RSS stuff)
Instapaper for saving articles for later

MGo obviously.
Spotify is worth the $10/mo if you have a commute or run or whatever and want to listen to music.
I concur with Waze. Living in LA w/o Waze is not an option.
2048 is a fun game for a little bit.
And then of course all the social media stuff. IG, Twitter, Facebook.
Used to have Periscope but it got annoying.

that sounds great, I suggest you to read the article 41 Best Android Apps 2016 to get your phone updated with latest apps.
I have dozens of different applications on my phone, so it is quite difficult to recommend something because I don't know what do you like and what possibilities do you need. As I know Nexus is quite good brand. By the way if you interested in latest tech news about gadgets, I can recommend to read 4ProMedia site, very interesting articles!
There are many cool apps you can download. If you want to meet new girls on the net, you should have a look at this site https://www.iwantu.com/webcam.html I know that my friend found a cool girl there. They have had a good time till that moment and I think you should also try it
