franchise would waste 2 draft picks on qbs when they have a qb who had a lot of success and can be very good and a backup in Gabbert who is a worthy backup. It just wouldnt happen. They may get one but getting 2 would be such a waste.

First off teams can use 2 draft picks on WB's in the same draft like Washington did in 2012 in RGIII and Cousins (Washington jokes aside they are an NFL team) and I don't know that you would even have too. Are we 100% sure Adams and Boykin are getting drafted? And even if they did it would be late, so instead of taking a flier on a special teams guys or a project lineman in the 7th, why not draft another bullet in the chamber of the most important position in the league? And these are only hypothetical names, Keenan Reynolds is still out there and probably an abundance of other spread QB's that typically would have to switch positions in the NFL. You think there wouldn't be enough of them that still want to play QB and flock to Santa Clara as undrafted free agents?

You don't think lowly of them...if they can stay healthy...then obviously they'd continue playing.

I just don't know if they could. But if you can hold up, then by all means...continue you playing.

My point was this. Most people say it will never work because "the QB will never hold up for an entire NFL season." Which I can't dispute.

So my point is...who cares? Get enough guys on the team that if that notion is true...you have plenty of depth.

Oregon and Baylor have rolled QB after QB through their system. Put the system in the NFL and if Kaep holds up 16 games, awesome, if he doesn't...you've got RGIII or Vernon Adams or whomever ready to step in.

The counterpoint to what you said is this...at least if I'm one of those free agents I feel like I'm going to get a shot to play on this team.

If I'm Vernon Adams, I'd rather be trying to make this team than the Denver Broncos or something (assuming it's at QB). I think these types of guys would welcome the chance simply because there's a better chance they're going to get in and when they do, the offense fits their skillset.

With no M players in the game right now, I'm forced to read lame articles about the AFC and NFC championship games ...

Did Charlie get this gig because he was the cheapest available option?

won an eating contest to get the gig because he knew nobody wanted him near their sideline so he proposed a challenge and won because its Weis and food

That TE was terrible in tracking and playing that ball.  Im not saying that was on Jake.  The ball was there, the receive needs to go after it.  Jake also took an uncontested shot.

Its interesting to see how many Africans are starting to get in to the league.  Michigan has the 2 WRs of course who will probably play on Sunday.
