The services are on the same side. Both are necessary for the defense of the country. Why you are calling the Navy "overrated" when it's the main reason why the US can project it's power globally really makes no sense to me.

The Navy does not see much combat because they so overwhelmingly powerful that no one else can possibly challenge them. It's like Royal Navy  from the Age of Nelson to World War II.

I'm proud of the board today. No one jumped down this guys throat for posting something previously posted. Perhaps the Durkin mess got all of the meanness out of the collective system here?

Go Army!

I've never put much thought into this game, but with my son serving in the US Army right now, I've gotta root for them.

Re: the comments about which service is better or worse is nonsense. When called upon, the US Military is an incredible force to be reckoned with, by land, sea, or air. I agree with the poster who said anyone willing to serve for millions of people they've never met deserves respect. My son serves in a non-combat MOS. Does that mean I respect his decision to enlist less, or am less proud of him? Hell No!

Hoo-ah!

I don't consider myself a huge MGoBlog guy. I'm not. But even I know this was already posted. How can you be a "post-er"(?) and not even know what has previously been posted?
