Ohio State's Fraud Schedule

Submitted by alum96 on

Easy to say in retrospect but OSU had not played a ranked team all year and only played 1 P5 team that as of tonight has a winning record...until tonight.   PSU.

Sagarin is not end all be all but look at their weak ass schedule coming into the night.  When you play creampuffs all year and then finally get someone who is in your weight class it tends to be a shock to the system.

Much like the B12 teams we mock for playing no one early, OSU was a relatively unknown quantity.

(if curious, Utah 19, MSU 21, NW 42, BYU 48 for comparison... oh and UM is 12)

Also fuck OSU.

It's so funny how you try to create specific parameters around your argument: "NFL doesn't count! First seasons aren't a good comparison! Superbowl appearances and turning around several subpar programs can't be included in this comparison! I only want to compare college seasons! Also, I want my blankie and a Popsicle!"

Take a nap little bro

You my friend are a m.o.r.a.n...Dantonios record vs Harbaugh? Really? Last time i checked IF Dantonio was sooooo good he would have gotten job offers year after year. Did Dantonio play in superbowl or appeared in 4 NFC chamionship games? How many programs has "The great" Dantonio help become power 5 programs? Or even better has Dantonio been able to turn a tire fire NFL team to a constant winning team? On top of that it took Dantonio 8yrs and the down spiral of Michigan football for him to achieve what he has.

We're talking about who is the better major college coach. WTF PLAYING in the Super Bowl has to do with that, I have no clue. Dantonio turned MSU into a consistent Top 10 team and Bowl winner. Harbaugh hasn't done that with anyone. He had one good season at Stanford, and never won a conference title.

How is it irrelevant you fuckin void? NFL is much harder to win or worse turn around a team like 49ers that were soo bad. Do you have any idea who stanford was before Jim got there? I know msu was irrelevant for 40yrs but they still were considered a top job.

right. Harbaugh kept climbing the ladder to am irrelevant job as an NFL head coach which of course no major college coach would aspire to because it is a step down from coaching at Michigan State. There is a reason that Harbaugh only truly had one great season at Stanford... because he took a promotion to coach at the highest level in the world possible. Does any of this not make sense to you? Or are you just really dense? Love your team, fly your colors but use your head.

Pearls before swine but here goes again

Comparing their entire coaching record is not an apples to apples comparison but if we must, Dantonio's W/L record as a college head coach is .678 and Harbaugh's record as a college head coach is .695 going into today. Victory Harbaugh.

Solid evidence in the win column, not what might maybe happen at some time in the future. When Harbaugh has won BT titles, beaten Dantonio multiple times and won 4 or 5 bowl games, then maybe you can talk about his being in the same class as Dantonio. Of course, he will have bolted back to the NFL long before that could ever happen.

Lol, you are awesome! I love seeing the lil bro attitude shine brightly! Every time you guys come over to attempt making us all feel like we're in a bad situation with our loser coach, then it just makes you truly look like a pitiful, overlooked whiner. Keep it up little buddy!

Not looking foolish at all Superbowl coach - turns teams around everywhere he's been. Dantonio loses Narduzzi and he struggles all season, loses to Nebraska and has to rely on flukes and "targeting" to beat us. Like I said - and by the way you didnt name one yet - tired of looking foolish?
