Was going to suggest "Power" because someone put Denard highlights to it and now I think of Denard whenever it comes on.

The tailgate playlist has to have broad appeal and be generally upbeat. I avoid country (personally speaking) but that's about it. Your list should also take into account where you are tailgating. There's no need to offend children and old people (eg, at Pioneer or near Crisler). Tailgates are better with many people milling in and out your area. That's a hard vibe to reach if you can't mix in a few crowd pleasers.

I mix in a bit of Queen on gameday myself, but I always manage to play "Death On Two Legs (Dedicated To...)" before MSU and Ohio State almost reagrdless. Played if before ND when they were on the schedule too because the song just feels right for rivalries as Queen songs go.

you probably don't care all that much about people knowing/liking all of the stuff you are playing, so throw on some old Beastie Boys, (Paul's Boutique is my personal fave) maybe some Grand Funk (if you want some more Michigan vibes) and get some old-school party rap in there just for kicks. Think the Humpty Hump, It's Tricky etc. Always good for some impomtu booze-fueled dancing.

However, no Michigan Tailgate playlist can be complete without The Victors (try this version for a change of pace):
And an audio clip or two of Bob Ufer
