McKnight would be a stupid pick.

Touche?

true if you take him in the first 2 rounds. He will slip in the draft and might be available in the late 2nd or early 3rd round. He would provide that big play ability that the lions special teams desperately needs!!

McKnight has never impressed me as a true running back, and you can find great returners late in the draft or as rookie free agents. The best kick/punt returners always seem to come out of nowhere. DeSean Jackson is an exception, but guys like Josh Cribbs and Dante Hall and Eddie Drummond and Domenik Hixon haven't been high picks.

move to LB like Woodley? Or is that only in a 3-4?

Graham is a 3-4 OLB or a 4-3 DE.

will not win another game nor will the lions - so at number 2 the Lions will be able to get one of Suh or Berry - either would be a great edition.
Lions should be around a 6 win team next year if they draft right and hopefully will be in the 8-8/playoff race in 2011.

will not even contend for a playoff spot untill 2012, at the earliest. This team is so talent starved it is just flat ridiculous, and every thursday saturday, sunday I have to listen to matt millens dumb ass talk to me about football.

You can create space-eaters in the middle. I know Suh is extremely talented, but you can manufacture good defensive linemen. With skill positions...you either have it or you don't. Most of the great defensive backs seem to be first or second round picks.

See Bengals,Cincinnati. They drafted Joseph and Hall in the first round in 2006 and 2007, and now have what many consider the best set of corners in the league.

Suh is an awesome player, but I'm already getting tired of the newfound Tebow-like hype he's receiving.

I would love to see Eric Berry in Detroit. Suh is extremely talented, and i dont think you can go wrong with either one, but if we took Eric Berry, our safety position would be set for the next 10 years, something that hasnt been said about a position group in years. We would have two potential pro bowl safeties, and he would help our pass defense alot, he's being compared to Ed Reed, and look what he does every sunday. Either way though with Suh or Berry our D will be gettin a huge upgrade, and then in the second round i think we have to go O Line. This years group of O Lineman is very deep, so there should still be a LT prospect in the 2nd round. If the Lions address defensive backfield or D line along with LT in the first two round that will be a great draft no matter what else happens.
