Although Bleacher Report is a shitty website, I think Biggers does his job pretty damn well.
Overall it's getting better. More articles like this with less slide show "articles".
But is the actual content getting better? It's not just slideshows vs. actual articles and it's not just blind BR hate.
Sometime ago I put the bleacher report app on my phone and "subscribed" or what have you to my favorite teams. It took about 5 reads to learn that the writers have absolutely no knowledge of the sports they write about, and so I deleted the app and have refused to read BR since.
As someone that has played extensive football, I need a certain level of insight and technical acumen. There's not a sport invented that better lends itself to strategy and the pursuit of technical perfection than football, and the mindless dribble of Adam Biggers and crew.
Sorry for the immense football snobbiness, but I am spoiled by the excellent sites that I do read - this blog being at the top of that list.
I can't blame Adam Biggers for his employer being a joke.
He does a good job.

New and improved Bleacher Report - with 50% more ad-filled slideshows!
is it just me, or has BR morphed over the last few years from "anyone can and does post here" to something more of an everymans-generic sports reporting blog. I am not sure BR is necessarily drivel everybsingle time. I suppose, pay attention to the byline, that says more than the website its on.

Seemed like a good read to me.
It's much better than those MLive pieces this board can't get enough of.
I don't read Baumgartner that much, but Quinn at MLive is a good writer. I really enjoy reading his articles.

"Harbaugh practiced alongside- and nearly as often- with more than 100 athletes..." feels like a grammatical nightmare. Other than that, I thought the article was well done.
Agree, really good content, if not the best writing out there.
Yes, it is from bleacher report. It was a good read though.
Yeah, not sure how Sarah feels about him planting his everyman seeds everywhere but I guess a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do...
A lot of the low-star kids that Harbaugh has offered so far will see their rankings rise in the fall. Michigan was, in most cases, their first high-major offer. The fact of that offer will attract more scrutiny from the services, and they'll go from no stars to three or maybe even four in some cases. And that will attract interest from strong programs closer to home.
So I bet at least a few of these lower-ranked, far-flung guys will decommit between now and national signing day next year. Yet another reason to ridicule people who are frustrated that we're not only offering five-stars.
