With the needs on defense I cannot imagine more than 2.  I think this class will eventually be 21-23 people.  We need to rebuild the entire DT (save Hurst and Mone) and DBs (save Watson Kinnel Washington) post 2016.  Last year's class had 3? 4? defensive players.

It's going to need to be 12+ defensive players.  Doesn't leave much left when you have 2 RBs, 1 QB, and you need a few OL and WRs.  And TEs.

I think the coaching staff is expecting a class of 25. Jay Harbaugh and recruits have been using the #fab25.

I think you are right when you say it will be defensive heavy class. We had 0 LB commits in the 2015 class, so I think we can see up to 3-4 LB (MIKE/WILL) in this class. And another 1 or 2 in that rush LB spot.

I could see 6 DBs.  We literally have almost nothing post 2016.  We cannot field a nickel defense as it currently stands assuming Peppers leaves.  And if you want to RS your DTs we need a bunch too there.  Esp with guy like Pallante switching to FB.

You also need a TE in there - or two!  Harbaugh!

We really need annual 27 person classes like OSU.

When Healthy Falcon looks like a guy that has it all. The dude is a big back with speed, later quickness, and vision. Harbaugh is building a stable of QB's and RB's.
