I have no idea of what is to become of Detroit. Seems to me a city with a future is a city with public schools good enough and crime low enough to prevent people from moving away if they have the means. It's hard to see that right now. Still, lots of people with lots of money are investing heavily and those folks aren't generally stupid. Whatever the future of the city, I think we can all feel good in supporting a project like this one. I think we all know the better choice between blight and gardens.
