CC-Call Your Shot
I thought this would be a fun way to waste some time today while at work.
Since it appears as though Brady "Nice Guys finnish* last" Hoke is going to be canned today, we should all throw our chips down on the table and declare who we think the next head coach, OC, and DC at Michigan is going to be.
My money:
HC: Tom Herman
OC: Lincoln Riley (No connection here; just a good coach)
DC: Chris Ash (Coached with Herman at Iowa State, OSU)
*I know, I know. Wan hek ov uh mis pelling.

Why is John out of the mix. It is just as likely now that the Ravens miss the playoffs. He already has a SB, so his selling pt is now winning a NC like Jimmy Johnson and the guy from OK (both with the Cowboys) did after their college success. And if it is true that Jim H is staying in the pros, then why not. Less pressure, and the boss would likely be better than his current lunatic billionaire owner. So I say John Harbaugh (who I think is actually the favorite of the Regents). And, while most will say he has already said NO! If you read what he said it was the perfect non-denial denial. He would most likely try to keep Mattison (who was his DC at BAL for a while) and is a great recruiter. And I would bet he would bring a bright mind to innovate the offense, not Cameron, but like Sonny Cumbie at TCU or Noel Mazzone at UCLA or Dave Christensen at Utah.

HC: Jim Harbaugh
DC: Vic Fangio (Can't find buzz about him going on to HC, so I think he moves with Harbaugh)
OC: Geep Chryst (I suspect Roman sticks in the NFL, so Chryst seems like next choice in the tree)
or
HC: Gary Patterson
OC: Doug Meacham (just joined Patterson last year)
DC: DeMontie Cross (I suspect Bumpas gets the HC job at TCU)
