There have been several laugh out loud moments in the first half alone. My favorite was having to look at the scoreboard when interviewing at half-time.
He should be on the number 1 commentary team immediately

Does anything the BTN do strike you as "top shelf". This is like community access TV on steroids. I mean has anyone ever seen a "Texas Pete" wing sauce ad on a real network like CBS, TNT, Spike, etc!

Manny had 9 pts 8 rebounds and 5 assists while Sims had 10 pts and 8 rebounds. Plus Vogrich had 9 points in only 5 minutes played. Glad to have basketball season back.

I was at the game where Gary Grant had his triple double. We had knocked off Navy and David Robinson on a Thursday, big game for Garde Thompson. We played Carolina on a Saturday, spur of the moment road trip.

I live in IL and went to see Lake Forest play Zion High School (The ZeeBees) last season. Zion had 3 D1 player but Vogrich just killed them with his shooting and smooth play. He just didn't miss from anywhere from what I remember.
Kid will be special when it is all said and done

it was a nice comment about taking school seriously, and it sounds like it was really heartfelt, about the players' sports careers being short, and the value of an education and the benefits of going to a school like michigan.
which is why jim harbaugh can win 11 games a year for the next decade, and i still will be fine if he never shows his face around here. if he wants to rip our athletes as students and the education he received, then he can hand off his diploma to someone else, i'm sure there would be a lot of takers.

Kind of agree. Harbaugh ran his mouth while he was a player and backed it up, but guys like that ultimately tend to say something they cannot take back. I think he is a good coach, but at this point I'm not sure he would be welcomed back as openly as he thinks.

1. The band's rendition of "Take On Me" was absolutely dominant.
2. Morris's length and athleticism is a major upgrade at the top of the zone. He runs the court and finishes very well near the basket.
3. The way the BTN cut off the awesome Harris to Sims oop to watch a fricking spaz drummer made me want to puke.
4. With the depth of talent on this team the scrimmages have to be fantastic. That's got to help the defense.
5. New more athletic Zach Novak is very fun to watch. Second team all big ten fun.
6. Stu's passing has really improved
7. Gibson has developed into a dynamic offensive player off the bench.
So...Stock up: Vogrich, Morris, Novak, Manny, Deshawn, Douglas, Gibson
Standing pat: LLP(meh defense, meh shooting, passing seems to have improved)
Stock down: Cronin(hands of stone), Wright(meh shooting)
