but given how much things have actually gotten worse quickly with the program - can someone further explain to me why it's not a good idea to just clean house for AD and football now and get started early on replacements for every one? 

I know it doesn't really help the team, but they're beyond help anyway. Getting a head start on new coach or maybe even getting one in quickly could be helpful couldn't it?

We can point to lots of specifics as to why Brandon should be fired, but they all arise as a result of one personality trait:

He's an asshole.

I think we can all agree on that. So the question is, do we want an asshole running Michigan's athletic department?

For me the answer is, "That depends on the asshole." Brandon is the wrong asshole. Jim Harbaugh would be the right one, after he's done coaching here.
