Ty Isaac commits, but questions remain

Submitted by G-Man on

From CBS Sports:

Michigan expects to land USC transfer running back Ty Isaac, who according to a source is working through the admissions process with the school and committed some time after his visit this week.

EDIT: Title edited due to popular demand. Article says he committed, but there's still a lot of paperwork between him and a winged helmet.

The title of the OP is like the end of a lot of modern day sequal that refuse to stand on their own and instead need to be split into two movies to make more money (even though it's really only one movie and only should be one movie; also note that this isn't a criticism of the OP, just an observation).

It's like, we had the first movie - "Isaac Goes to Southern California". Then we get the sequel "Ty Isaac Commits... But Questions Remain" and we are all now leaving the theater on the edge of our seat waiting for the third and final movie of the trilogy to come out. Here's to hoping we aren't disappointed with part 3.

Real question, would it be better for the program if he doesn't get a waiver, and in turn is a year behind Green and Smith?

If one isn't getting enough playing time they may transfer before but it wouldn't be surprising to have someone play well and leave early for the NFL. We are talking 3 very good backs with a pretty experienced line in 2015.

Who knows what the future will bring but you take good players when you can get them and deal with the problems it causes.
