Wouldn't it be the worst thing in the history of sports if an 8 seed 10 loss Kentucky team won a championship by beating a Florida team that they had lost to in the three previous meetings?  It'd be the all time worst of fairy tale endings.

Im very emotional right now but I feel like Beilein has cost us the National championship last year with sitting Burke so many minutes, and now today with Horford etc. At this level you gotta play your horses and see what happens! I love Beilein, I would not trade him for anyone but he is not without fault.

Nik couldn't have taken a few more steps, but spit happens.  Refs let the game be UK's style, the guys played valiantly.  And that was an ice, cold 3 by a twinkie.

The good news is that I no longer need to watch basketball this season.  And I can finally wash my Michigan t-shirt.

This one stings but not as much as I thought it would. It hurts to see our team so sad, I know they are all competitive and hate to lose but I hope they realize how much they accomplished this season and hold their heads up high. We learned a lot about our program this year, our coaches, it's been a great great season. Now we wait for the announcements about who is coming back. Can't wait to get DJ Wilson and Kam Chatman in here and see what they can do, and I expect Zak and Derrick to have a big jump next year like Nik and Caris did this year. Go Blue!

As I said on twitter, you know you care about sports too much when, after a loss, you try to put your life in perspective...sitting up here telling myself: "i got a good job, I need to be thankful that I'm even a position to enjoy a sporting event. Could be in a 3rd world country..."

Sad as shit right now. Good game, great run. Kentucky made shots that they haven't made all year, hats off to em...

They have a tie game, and about 4 guys on the floor that can pretty much walk down the lane and lay it up or dunk it to win.  Intead, they decide to take a fade-away 3 from a 34% 3-point shooter.   It was an unbelievably bad shot, all things considered.

I would have let him take that shot 10 out of 10 times.  He just hit it.

That was a tough shot the kid hit to beat an even tougher UM team who had shown resilience all year. The future isbright,we are B1G champs and once again well respected by the bb world! I can live with that, Go Blue!!!
