MSU sucks.
November 14th, 2019 at 11:16 PM ^
I am not a native Michigander, but, when I went to U-M, we lost to MSU twice: '87 and '90. '87 was the six interception game, and '90 of course was the no-call on the PI in the end zone when we tried to win the game (as the number one team in the fucking country).
My point is, that I learned to hate those MF'ers pretty quickly.
November 15th, 2019 at 7:44 AM ^
Out of stater myself and there were 2 schools i quickly learned to hate. MSU is one of them.
November 15th, 2019 at 8:51 AM ^
'87 was the six interception game
Ahhh, Demetrious Brown...that guy had a howitzer of an arm. He was inaccurate, but he could sling the football.
November 14th, 2019 at 11:16 PM ^
Is this whole thing just gonna be a replay of MSU's greatest moments or what?
November 14th, 2019 at 11:21 PM ^
Here comes the Little Bro game :)
November 14th, 2019 at 11:28 PM ^
Still irritates me how they play the victim. Dantonio's acted like a douche from the get go. Of course they didn't show the beginning of the interview when he straight up talks trash to a college kid lol.
November 14th, 2019 at 11:30 PM ^
That asshole is the one who made the smartass comment about the moment of silence for Michigan that season when App. St. happened, fuck him. I hope we put up 100 on them on Saturday.
November 14th, 2019 at 11:37 PM ^
At least all staee fans are together....
November 15th, 2019 at 5:34 AM ^
A classic. Shudder to think how much worse their spelling has gotten since this incident.
November 15th, 2019 at 10:24 AM ^
I am always irritated how the Hart is short comment is always removed. Also when Hart’s comment is reduced to him saying Little Brother and does not include when he said “that’s what they think” because they spent all game saying “Who’s little brother now?”

Obligatory:
FYS
FYS
FYS
That is all.
November 14th, 2019 at 11:39 PM ^
Frustrating Beilein left Michigan without a National Championship. You can tell how much he cared for the University.
November 14th, 2019 at 11:42 PM ^
D'Antolini is a dick. MSU is a joke of an institution. That is all.
November 14th, 2019 at 11:43 PM ^
I'd rather stab my eyes out with a herpes infected syringe than watch Rich Rods time at MICH
November 14th, 2019 at 11:43 PM ^
My god, Draymond is dumb. "They're not cut like us. We live for those moments." My only memory of him in a Michigan / MSU game is completely bricking a potential game winner.
November 14th, 2019 at 11:51 PM ^
KMFA, Kork.
*edit: KMFA=Kiss My Fucking Ass.
My dislike for Kork is about as intense as it is for anything or anyone spartie

Admit I am a geek like this and rewound this 7x. Watching this video of the 2001 game with HD vid and new fangled technology it is easy to come to the following conclusion:
17 seconds were left in the game and 4 seconds magically were gifted to MSU.
My $800 iPhone has a stopwatch on it. When I sync that up and press start when the ball is snapped, my iPhone rattles off 21.25 seconds on average between snaps. They ended up with 1 second on the clock. Seriously I averaged this. Low end was 19.75 seconds and high end was 22.5. Any way I run it.
Maybe Apple had the foresight to know that 14 years after this game I would start using their product and is just messing with me.

Can't rewatch that game. We win that game and we're playing OSU for a shot at the BCS title game in the Rose Bowl. Yes, Miami would've beaten us by 30, but it still would've been better than losing by 30 in the Citrus Bowl.
November 15th, 2019 at 8:54 AM ^
Is that the year Tennessee grabbed us by the pigtails?
November 15th, 2019 at 9:32 AM ^
Yes indeed. Speaking of losses you'd like to forget, Tennessee would've played Miami for the title if they would've beaten LSU in the SEC title game. Honestly, I think that would've been the toughest matchup for Miami.
November 14th, 2019 at 11:56 PM ^
Nobody sows division like a Spartan.
(I know of what I speak.)
November 15th, 2019 at 8:47 AM ^
Are you implying that Dantonio colluded with Russian operatives to try and gain an advantage in the Michigan / Michigan State game? Because I would totally believe that.
November 14th, 2019 at 11:56 PM ^
Goddammit it makes me mad how we never utilized Devin Gardner correctly - a travesty.
November 15th, 2019 at 12:01 AM ^
Holy balls, run a few more ads, Fox.
November 15th, 2019 at 12:03 AM ^
no kidding - i want to go to bed lol
November 15th, 2019 at 12:14 AM ^
Yeah, no kidding. It's just like one of their football broadcasts
November 15th, 2019 at 12:07 AM ^
Hitting delete on this garbage. Complete slob on MSUs knob in my opinion.
November 15th, 2019 at 8:32 AM ^
Couldn't agree more. Hey- lets include a bunch of basketball to make staee fans feel better about themselves..
I did like that Harbaugh wasn't interviewed for this.. Kind of makes Mork look dumb.
Hope he was asked and refused.
November 15th, 2019 at 12:14 AM ^
At the end, the difference between Devin Gardner's comments and Draymond Green's comments are so funny. Destroy us in rowing, softball, chess? WTF? Such a yutz
FYS
November 15th, 2019 at 12:50 AM ^
Well that was interesting. Leave it to a network like Fox to frame a narrative that MSU has been kicking the shit out of M since the beginning of time. Or somehow they are close to equals. Fucking joke.
November 15th, 2019 at 3:40 AM ^
They’re trying to drum up interest for their game of the week which otherwise features a 4-5 team. Ratings still run tv
November 15th, 2019 at 2:10 AM ^
Just finished. I'd say certain parts were frustrating to watch but overall it was worth watching.
I do think it portrayed MSU a bit more positively. It heavily pushed Michigan's arrogance stereotype and ignored everything before 2007 besides MSU's cinderella moments... The second half was more fair than the first at least.
Loved the interviews though. Was awesome hearing from Beilein, Carr, Long, and Gardner.
November 15th, 2019 at 7:27 AM ^
Sounds like I made a good choice to not watch this pile of garbage.
When Devin Gardner is who you’re able to get for an interview that says a lot about this documentary.

We're all happy you were able to spend your time productively jerking off into a jumpman sock
November 15th, 2019 at 8:35 AM ^
This is pure gold
November 15th, 2019 at 8:57 AM ^
Not just any jumpman sock. One that has blinking block "M" lights.
November 15th, 2019 at 12:45 PM ^
Don't shoot the M though or you'll fail your exams.
Errr... in the case of WD, not get accepted to Michigan.
November 15th, 2019 at 12:44 PM ^
Easy there tiger... you'll make it into WD's troll cave with comments like that.
/s
Fuck that... like the other poster said, "pure gold"!
November 15th, 2019 at 10:10 AM ^
That this was aired immediately following a MSU basketball game tells you all you need to know. Recorded it in case it was good.
November 15th, 2019 at 10:47 AM ^
Will not watch. Clearly it’s a cherry-picked assortment of the history to falsely portray MSU as some kind of equal or at least a plucky upstart that heroically stands up to the big blue bully against all odds.
I am fine with being portrayed as the arrogant asshole who unkindly looks down on and demeans the less-than MSU, but only if MSU is accurately portrayed as a bitter and insanely jealous institution that constantly compares itself to UM and cannot understand why no one in Ann Arbor or nationally will recognize them as an equal to UM as an institution no matter how much on-field success they may occasionally run into.
November 15th, 2019 at 12:47 PM ^

We're not arrogant, we're just better.
November 15th, 2019 at 11:15 AM ^
Just Hulu'd it at work. That was pretty darn good. Not enough history stuff, imo. But it got the blood pumping, for sure.
