Very hard to bet against Nick Saban, LSU vs Alabama thread

Nick Saban and is staff find a way in these type of games 80+% of the time. But LSU has that new offense. Their defense isn't as good as it usually is though.

KICK IT OFF!!!

I do expect it to get closer in the second half. Alabama will try to make a comeback.

Hope I'm wrong, I'd love to see Alabama fans leaving early.

I'm wondering when the last time was LSU produced this much on offense in the 1st half against a team the caliber of Alabama?

Through yesterday LSU's offense was ranked higher than Ohio St. Looks like today those numbers are for real. I would never have expected Joe Burrow would look this good against Alabama.

Lol you get run over for 30 minutes and give up 30+ first half points and when you finally make a stop you start celebrating?

Good thing for Alabama that happened. LSU marching down and making it 40-13 would have been almost mind bending to see.

Just tuned in. Watching football while the newborn boy sleeps on my chest. Doesn’t get much better for this first time Michigan Dad :)

LSU looking like the much better team.

I'll tell ya, I'd have taken Alabama...... but man, LSU...... Burrow reminds me of our QBs of Carr and earlier, its refreshing to see and I'm reminiscing a bit here.  He is solid and heady, and never a wtf moment.... can't say this about Patterson.    Hoke went after Burrow hard...

Nagee Harris is good.  No doubt that Alabama is a great program, but I hope LSU keeps the pressure on and wins.
