Michigan 1 seed in latest Joe Lunardi Bracketology

Michigan emerged as a 1 seed in Joe Lunardi's latest Bracketology. Also of note: Big Ten has 10(!) teams in the bracketology. Obviously, way too early for any of this.

Michigan *should* be 14-0 heading into the IU game.

Me neither.  And with Simpson, you're right, there was a period of time last season where he was draining open looks and shooting with confidence.  I think he had three 3 pointers in the second half against Purdue.  I think he may have even been flashing the three-goggles or some variation of that.  Need some of that back.

I know Beilein won't go all that deep. But I think an 8 - 9 rotation is reasonable. I like Livers, and he should continue to play, but we need to have someone else to back up Teske, especially when going small isn't helpful. DDJ is more of a luxury, but would be helpful behind X & Brooks.

It will be interesting how the NET ratings effect the selection in the end. Due to (alleged) poor handling of opponent strength, it may favor mid-majors significantly more heavily than RPI, with the exception of the MVC which successfully gamed RPI. If that's the case, it will be difficult for the Big Ten to send more than 8 teams. Of course, the exact formula is not public, so it's hard to say until it's reverse engineered...which will probably occur by the end of the year.

Honestly love the thought of Columbus being filled with dueling Michigan and MSU fans while the beloved hometown team has to schlep all the way to Salt Lake City. Retribution for football season, bitches
