Kirby Smart on ESPN Now

Instantly lobbying his ass off for the CFP and ESPN is giving him the platform...conflict of interest for sure.  Pretty ridiculous in my opinion...

If they put Georgia in the playoff..the remaining conferences should just leave that flaky CFP arrangement behind. Go back to the way it was in the old days.

Not sure the reason for the ND hate. Reality is no conference game eliminates them making it with 1 loss. But, they went undefeated. They should be in.

I would agree with this but for the fact that for almost every game ND played, other teams had better outcomes.

For example, Syracuse was the only team that ND played more soundly than everyone else.

ND beat Ball State by 7, but 7 other teams beat them much more soundly, often to the tune of 30-40 point spreads

ND beat Vandy by 5, but four other teams beat them much more soundly, and the only other game they lost was by 5 to Missouri

WF and Florida State played Clemson and ND and both were much, much more competitive against ND

ND's home win by 21 against Stanford is comparable, if not worse, than Stanfords 19 point loss at Utah.

Pitt, GT, and Miami beat VT more handily than ND did

ND beat Navy by 22, but Cincinnati and Air Force beat Navy much more soundly

ND beat Pitt by 5, but 5 other teams averaged spreads of 28 against

ND beat USC by 7, but 3 other non-ranked teams beat USC much more soundly

ND beat Michigan by 7, which wasn't as good as OSU's performance

ND beat NW by 10, to OSU's 21 and Dukes 14

I don’t think it’s ridiculous.  Georgia could beat all 4 of the playoff teams almost beat Bama yesterday.  They need to just expand it to 8 and get it over with

He should've been explaining why he went for a 4th and 11, from mid-field, late in the game, instead of playing field position. Foolish, and like most of you, I can't hardly say "SEC" without convulsing. We should drop our week 11 conference games and start scheduling the Citadels of college football. Never seen such a cup cake schedule....
