Wow - talk about ruining what was supposed to be an AAUM members-only promotion.
That said... if they really wanted to make it exclusive, they could have done a whole lot better job of creating a firewall for it than a simple promo code.
Annnnnd I bought stuff two days ago already
90 day return policy is your friend.
I just dropped $200 last weekend since I was back in town lol
You're not WD
yes I am..
i mean... he is
Fuck
Probably okay to send this promo code to your brother who is also an alumni member (even if he didn't re-up this past year).
Putting it out on the web, not great, since its quite possible the AAUM negotiated something specific with MDen and they can't handle the capacity a public promotion would net. This is the sort of thing that makes future AAUM promotions not possible.
Don't think the OP meant for this to screw over the MDen or AAUM. But to appease the upset board members, I'll be sure not to use the code.
20% off is about 40% more than I'm willling to shell out for MDen priced stuff
Agreed, while my fandom knows no bounds, my wallet does.
Exactly. 20% off of MDen clearance items is still 50% more than the same item at Marshall's.

Do they have clearance items on the website and will this work on that?
tried... no
Should be a 103% discount for MDen killing Moe's.
Moe's has had nothing for years and has been a shell of itself for years. Time to let it go, old man.
Adapt or perish.

There certainly will be some folks that miss it for nostalgic reasons - that Moe's isn't there - but the bottom line is this was not, from a business perspective, something new," Hirth said. "That location has not been viable as a standalone store for quite a while.
"Moe's is one-tenth of the size of the big (M Den) store on State Street," Hirth added. "The overwhelming response was that people aren't walking around the corner to go to that Moe's store, and they haven't for years. It didn't matter if the M Den owned it, if the VanDeWege family owned it or if Underground Printing owned it."
Here's a bright idea - shrink the size of the M Den around the corner, and use what was in that extra space in the Moe's location, and rename it in big letters "THE MDEN AT MOE SPORT SHOPS".
Done. We all get to be happy. No reason for the MDen to not accomplish what they wanted to with their business plan (increasing size and focus on Detroit/Briarwood locations, and decreasing the overwhelming presence on State Street), and we all get to keep the Moe's nostalgia while purchasing MDen products there. Simple.
This is a serious question. Is it still possible to buy Michigan clothing without a corporate logo, like the Nike swoosh?
Mden has a ton of shirts under $20
Yes. You pay more for the swoosh.
