Here is your snowflake thread for the offense. Unlike last week, I am pretty sure we're not going to OT here.

Is this what Oregon and Baylor feel like after every week?  Man those fans must be super spoiled.

If there is a frustration after this week it is because if we run a couple of these plays last week, we are 7-0.  I think this is the offense we all wanted to see all year.  Please please please keep it up.  

I-form runs still awful.  

If I were an IU fan I'd be very unhappy.  Shortly after Gallon eclipsed the 300 yard receiving mark, they decide to not cover him.  At all.  There was no one within 20 yards of him.  What the hell were they doing?  

So, great job, but IU caveats abound.

I really don't get this board, Borges this Borgees that. It's like people watch the box scores and not the game. I don't like his play calling often but he does put the players in a position to succeed. If they don't execute it's on the players. Take a real look at this team and you'll see weak spots at every position group but as a unit they've all managed to succeed. We're 6-1 without 6-1 talent. I came here expecting to see people raving about Magnuson, he played lights out. You just watch the first TD drive alone and you realize he was HUGE for this team. But next to nothing about him it's Borges Borges Borges. The plays worked so now he's good? That isn't how football works. The players executed so now he's good. There was nothing wrong with the play calls last week either, the problem was us shutting it down repeatedly figuring we had a FG and a win. Game day coaching doesn't often determine success or failure, game day execution determines success or failure. People need to stop worrying about play calls and worry about play. Worry about actual football. Bitching about the coaches makes people sound like the guy at the bar that starts talking football with you that you immediately realize doesn't know the game. Props to the PLAYERS but we have a lot to improve on still.

An interesting theory, marred only by the fact that it is contradicted by the evidence.  Running into stacked boxes will not succeed even with excellent execution.  That's what we were seeing at Penn State.

This is the money quote from you, though: "There was nothing wrong with the play calls last week either, the problem was us shutting it down repeatedly figuring we had a FG and a win."  That sounds like shitty playcalling, if it was playcalling that repeatedly falsely assumed that the game was already won when, in fact, it was lost.
