Tommie Frazier speaks out against Pelini
As the amazing nebraska defense was smacked around yet again Saturday, former NU QB Tommie Frazier has had enough and is calling for Pelini's head.
If this stuff keeps happening, I think he's gone.
If the lunatics at NU fired Frank Solich for going 9-3 two years removed from a national title game berth, I don't know what it will take to fire Pelini. Keep in mind Solich was 58-19 in 6 years.

who was mad as a hornet this morning. As mentioned on the thread, Tommy Frazier is Tom Brady, Charles Woodson, Denard Robinson and Desmond Howard rolled into one to the Nebraska fanbase. Dismissing Tommy Frazier's comment was a very RR thing to do for Pelini, imho.
My co-worker said Solich would come back to coach, if asked. I found that quite amusing considering how he was let go.
I also wish Pelini recruited Ohio better. He grew up in Youngstown, and went to Ohio. However, Pelini's 2013 class has 3 Ohio commits, and zero for 2014. I realize Nebraska runs a "national" recruiting footprint, but I wish he would throw a little competition toward Meyer.
I'll keep watching, along with Mack Brown and Lane Kiffin. Should be an interesting season for three traditionally strong football schools.

You must be talking about the no. 1 jersey. He certainly never dissed any former UM players, and in fact many of the pro players found it quite satsifying to be welcomed home and working out under Barwis. I don't think Pelini dissed Frazier either, but if he had heard Frazier's words, then as a man-someone who doesn't have crushes on other men- then hell yes, he's going to fire back as most "MEN" would. If they don't like him out there, hand him his walking papers and give the job to Frazier. It's not that difficult. If they don't want him, fire his ass. But do so like Brandon did. Wait til after the season. Nothing worse than ex-players mouthing off about the current coach, thus inviting the entire nation(and you know espn and other media rags)will be all over this shit now. Just wait until season ends and hand him his papers. No reason to talk about him now. However, I can't imagaine why they didn't exercise this option when he was caught F.....ing everything Braska. Now you're talking reason for immediate termination. In fact, I am having difficulty believing they didn't fire his ass inamuch as someone from the AD's office was there and you could hear her pipe in, rather quietly, "But many of them did come back."

he didn't respect tradition/the program. You're correct... The Number 1 Jersey is a good example.

fans in this manner.

Neb can't stand having a defense that bad. I think he gets lit up again by a couple BIG teams (NU and UM probably) and then probably again on Jan1 vs an SEC team for the death nail. He will probably go 9-4 again.Remember Wyoming put up 34 on them in game 1 too.
I mean its not like the BIG is the pac12 or Big 12. By in large the O is weak and yet neb still gets destroyed in almost every big game.

North Dakota State's current HC.
He is a Nebraska alum, not to mention a coach from Osborne's 1995 and 1997 MNC Nebraska football teams.

I don't know. He was Solich's' DC and the fans pretty much ran him out of town, like our fanbase did for Jim Herrmann. He may not want to return.

Stop it... I'd like to keep Bohl in Fargo until retirement. He's brought the program here back to life but the one place I could see him leaving for is Nebraska. It would be a good time to jump ship though as the top talent all graduates this year. Been a great run with success against FBS and FCS and enough to bring ESPN Gameday to town.

Pelini to Texas
And
Jack Del Rio to USC

I thought he was a defensive (no pun intended) minded coach. His offense with Martinez has been solid to good the past couple years, but the defense disappeared after that Big 12 championship game dominated by Suh against Texas.

Wisconsin - Best B1G success last 3 years, but always blows Rose Bowl, won nothing before
OSU - last conference title in 2009, but leads B1G in cheating
Michigan - Backed into BCS bowl in 2011, but last title of any kind in 2004, and The Horror
PSU - last conference title in 2008, but then the unmentionable
Nebraska - 3 division titles last 4 years, but no conference title since 1999, and UCLA type games
Yes, some Nebraska fans and players are on the ledge. Some of you guys were on the ledge until you avoided The Horror II and put Akron away. Texas fans want to fire their AD and HC a week after firing their DC.

I agree with you, except about the backing into the bowl part.
Pelini is a good football coach, despite his anger issues. Once they shore up the defense, things will be OK for Nebraska.
9-10 wins a season is an enviable record. It may not be enough for Nebraska fans, but Nebraska's program has proven itself over time to be a very fine one.

an actuall scientific study, complete with facts rather than a poll and although OSU did come close, and many were leaning toward OSU, MSU did get top honors just by sheer number of times program has been put on probation. But yeah, get your point. They're one, two in conference as to cheating.
