OT: Used Car Advice
So my 2001 Honda Civic's transmission just bit the dust. Cost of repairs is significantly greater then the value of the car.
Any thoughts of good used vehicle makes & models? Especially anything with more then three seats, as we have two small children, with the strong potential of adding more.
Don't buy a foreign car then. Love my Ford Edge. I have had buicks, gmcs, vw's, and hondas, chryslers, fords and jeeps. My dad drove fords religiously and of course, i couldn't do it. Aside from my wrangler, this Edge has zero issues or maintenance requirements. My dad was right (that doesnt leave this room) but its a solid ride. Good luck!

As a family guy and more good to come think a mini van. Honda oddity or a Chrysler RA. Parts and labor are cheap and you will need the room.
