Name quetions aside (yes it is still on Long Island and in New York) this is a great move. The old place was a Dump with an intentionally capitalized D and no one watched. And the rich white hipster hockey demographic population of Brooklyn is explodign

Fewer seats isn't necessarily a bad thing. It can mean more sellouts and create a sense of scarcity of tickets that compels people to buy. Having a stadium too large for the fanbase discourages people from buying season tickets and depresses the atmosphere (having fans dispersed among empty seats doesn't encourage people to make noise).

They have been bad recently so I'm thinking maybe they have a few young, high draft picks that will step up soon.
