Such a great story, can't believe how much progress he has made.

I hope he walks with his brother on senior day. It would be a fitting conlcusion. to Elliot at Michigan.

That's a fantastic idea. There was not a dry eye in the house when he walked out against UConn.

I note that whenever Brock does not use his canes, he not only holds his arms up high, but also seems to raise the one that is taking a step. Does anyone know if that's just for balance/momentum, or if he has actually learned to make his nerves that command his shoulders to rise also work for his hips to some extent? I've heard of things before where people with a certian paralysis will learn to sort of work around it via peripheral nervous connections.

at the progress Brock has made---I have seen it posted prior to this that he has continued to make progress, but I wasn't expecting this much. Thanks for posting this video!

I've never been so proud of a guy I've never met. ESPN seriously needs to get a crew on this. Would make a great sports doc.

The BTN did a really nice feature in 2010. Funny how we all thought that was the end of the story.

His story never ends. He's going to have to work hard every day of his life just to keep what he's got.

A car crash on five years ago claimed the lives of Brock Mealer's father and left him paralyzed from the waist down
Apparently the crash was "On give years ago" and Brock's father had multiple lives. I'm sure they meant to mention that there was more than one victim.

How come every time I watch one of those videos it gets really dusty in my office and my seasonal allergies that I normally only have in the spring start acting up?
Weird...
