Tremendous: More on Derrick Green
According to "Tremendous" Derrick Green's visit may be much more just a courtesy call. No guarantees or gut feelings, but "there's a lot of smoke building with this situation".

That drummer gets my vote for being the best drummer on this planet or any other.
You don't have to comment on everything, you know.
If you subscribe to the notion that the coaches were going to fill the final two spots (assuming a 3rd spot is being held for Laquon) with the BAA then I don't think Ross fits that criteria. I think they knew they could get Ross but preferred McQuay and told him the spot was his if he committed know otherwise they would get Ross since no other BAA fit the CB spot that UM had a rilaible chance of getting. I also think the coaches had a much better shot at Green than everyone realized before the last 24 hrs and were holding a spot for him as well at least through the BBQ if not longer.
Why do you think the offer was between McQuay and Ross. McQuay has already stated he was given until this weekend to commit. Ross gave his verbal on tuesday. They are obvi planning on someone hoping on board this weekend, otherwise they wouldn't have given him till the weekend to decide.
McQuay told them he wasn't going to make a decision by this weekend. After that, there was no reason to make Douglass wait. I don't know the actual timeline, but that makes sense to me.
I think is was always McQuay and Ross only came into the picture as a backup plan. By Thursday it was being reported that McQuay had dropped UM from his list due to #'s crunch. I think the coaches knew earlier that they weren't going to get him and went for Ross at that point.
It depends on whether the spoke with McQuay before or after they accepted the commitment from Ross. The timing is everthing.
Shaq Wiggins is my new favorite Georgia Bulldog.
Shaq Wiggins trash talk game>>actual game but has line of the day to OhSt commit Jalin Marshall "Urban Meyer's gonna take your scholarship"
Got a couple texts from recruits on campus right now saying good shot Green commits this weekend. Also, 2014 WR Artavis Scott mentioned.
