Spring Game Prediction Thread
A little history of the Spring game-
Last 10 Spring Games
2001 White 28 Blue 21
2002 White 27 Blue 17
2003 Cancelled Due to FieldTurf installation
2004 Blue 24 White 20
2005 Blue 34 White 18
2006 Blue 30 White 26
2007 White 42 Blue 41
2008 White 23 Blue 19 Invite-only held at Saline HS
2009 White 73 Blue 32
2010 Blue 49 Maize 37
2011 Blue 14 Maize 7
The Blue team leads the all-time series against Maize (formerly White) 27-26. They took the series lead back last season. Maize/White has won 3 out of the last 5, but Blue has won the past two.
The teams will be organized like last season. 1st team offense & 2nd team defense (Maize) vs 2nd team offense & 1st team defense (Blue).
My prediction: Blue 17 Maize 14. There will be one defensive touchdown.
Hope to see the receivers do well because that is a huge question mark heading into this season. Also want the DL to get some "sacks" (when you touch the QB, the play ends).
Your predictions/hope to see do well?
I don't know if this has happened in the history of the "Spring Game" Tradition, but it hasn't in the last ten years so, I predict 24-24. Defensive Touchdown. Field Goals 100%. Lot of "meh" looking things that will be overreacted upon. 2nd year in the system brings even more to the table to learn. Hopefully the latter half of Spring practices were used to implement said "playbook additions", etc. and it won't necessarily be an overall pretty sight. Go Blue Go White.
Well atleast we'lll still be able to watch it. Would this hurt any swaying for recruiting?
Who will be this years Brink/Moudros? The guy that vaults from nothing to the talk of the town and only to fizzle out after the first fall practice.
How long does the spring game usually last? Is there a lot of stoppage and what not? Reason I ask is I have prior commitment later that night and am trying to decide if it's worth the drive in comparison to how much action I'd see.
It took me months to find them, I had to email people who work in the athletic department.
I can email you the complete history of spring game scores if you would like.
That, my friend, is dedication.
the QB throwback to Gardner from Diggs.
It's a 2 hours drive for me and my friends from Freeland (Saginaw, Midland, tri-cities-area). We've been to the last 3 spring games and got on to the field for one. What are the odds they move it indoors? Do you think we should risk it?
Do it.

Dude I drive from Saginaw and it only takes me an hour and a half at most. I went out and spent $50 on tailgate food so I am hoping the game is not moved indoors. I am planning on being on the road by 8 and hopefully we get to park near the stadium for free. I quit parking at Pioneer 2 years ago. I can't believe they are charging $20 tomorrow.
Jerald Robinson will catch a touchdown.

But it does not sound like it will be to Michigan. Seems to be in love with Ohio.
Meteorological grumble. From the presser: "The radar shows a 60-percent chance of thunderstorms." Radars do not see into the future, therefore this statement makes absolutely no sense. Come on, Leaders and Best, random intern writer. Leaders and Best.

Were going to make the 2 hour drive for the game. How many other chances do you get to sit field-side and watch Michigan? I've been to a bunch of games but the closest I've ever been is 19th row. But during the spring game we always sit right in front and one year we even got to go on the field..which was amazing. I'll be so pissed if it storms and is moved inside. But my buddy told me they're going to announce that at 6 am???? IDK if thats true or not. Worst comes to worst we get to eat on the man vs food sandwhich spot...the Ann Abor deli I believe? Either way I'm excited. I love AA! HAIL!!!

You're thinking of Maize and Blue Deli I believe.

Someone will tweet during the game, "Borges y u no call bubble screen? #GOBLUE" It will show up on the scoreboard.
which means Leveberry commits to FSU.
