02/21/2014 - 7:32pm I'm in the same boat as you

I'm in the same boat as you being a Browns/UM fan.

But, Edwards was his own worst enemy in Cleveland, not the fans. His stint with the Jets further proved this.

11/04/2013 - 10:49pm I don't post here.

I've been a lifelong fan, reader of Mgoblog awhile, and decided to join the boards sometime during the RR years. I know I don't have thousands of post so if you're the type of person who sees that as validation, you can stop reading.

The concept of hiding posts with a downvote is good in theory, but the execution is the terrible. People hide quality, thought out posts simply because they don't agree.

The refusal of talking about RR is ridiculous. The man busted ass for this school, he deserves to be mentioned - and like him or not, he's part of the team's tradition. If we can't talk about RR, then we can't talk about Bo. Frankly, I wouldnt mind seeing him come into the Big House and hang 50 pts on us.

Roll Damn Tide left...Did people actually think he was a Bama fan?

TomVH left.

01/01/2013 - 6:02pm .

Wile can kick.

Norfleet is a solid returner.

Gardner to Gallon will be commonplace next year.

08/14/2012 - 6:52pm Always so weird.

05/08/2012 - 5:25pm Say what you will, but Seven

Say what you will, but Seven Nation Army had the stadium rockin' like I had never experienced before. For a stadium that is known for having the most fans (and the most quiet), why would we not have it played?Oh thats right, because it doesn't match your personal musical taste. Ya know, forget the advantage and excitement for the kids on the field.

04/20/2012 - 4:16am Well,

I'd say we have a 50-50 chance.

04/14/2012 - 6:38pm I think the defensive backs

I think the defensive backs played excellent today, given the fact that Denard wasn't in. This is a good sign, given that not every QB will have the game changing-speed of Denard.

Rawls looks to have a nice future, maybe not this year, but he's got potential.

Wile kicked a nice FG, 40-some yarder IIRC?

04/13/2012 - 7:45pm Quick Question

How long does the spring game usually last? Is there a lot of stoppage and what not? Reason I ask is I have prior commitment later that night and am trying to decide if it's worth the drive in comparison to how much action I'd see.

Yea these are less than appealing, but at least the guy made an effort and was having some fun with it..lets not rip him entirely. And truthfully, if someone would have posted the UTL uniforms 5 years ago they probably would have gotten the same reaction.

02/27/2012 - 5:15pm My take

Nascar is one of those sports that you truly have to understand what's going on to enjoy. The average viewer sees cars going in circles, that's just the way it is. Fans see the driver relationships/personalities, the experience curve, the action in the pits, etc etc.

It's a lot like hockey, very few people can be talked into enjoying hockey by friends. It's just one of those things that happens.

That being said, I'll be rooting for Mark Martin in this one. He's getting to the tail end of his career and for him to win a 500 would be a nice way to start what may be his last year.

02/27/2012 - 12:09pm Somebody help me out here

...why does everyone refer to combine times as "unoffical". It seems to me that if any time were to be "offical" it would be the combine time..So what does one have to do to get an "offical" time.

02/03/2012 - 12:16pm Brock Mealer

was the best piece of this article. Him walking to midfield to touch the banner before  the home opener against UConn is still one of my favorite moments at the Big House. Keep working hard, Brock.

Look we get it, you EXPECT a NC every year (and anyone who doesn't should be a Missouri fan). Simply put, thats unrealistic. A quick look at the Horror is great reason why you don't EXPECT anything.

I have a house I want to sell you...

01/23/2012 - 4:47pm Against my better judgement

..I'm going to throw my hat into this discussion.

"Expecting" a NC run next year is setting yourself up for a letdown, IMO.

Without going into much detail, the loss of Team 132, in particular, Junior Hemingway is much bigger than what we may imagine. Couple that with one heck of a schedule and our NC picture gets pretty dull.

However, a B1G championship? That's a possibilty, but I don't know if I'd take it much further than that.

Like I said, this is all my opinion and the returners in the secondary, Denard, Fitz, and Roundtree (to name a few) could make me look like a fool.

12/24/2011 - 12:13am Sports Science is pretty neat

Sports Science is pretty neat but I can't help but feel like some of it BS..Not trying to knock it (or Denard's segment) but some of them leave you wondering how in the hell they would even calculate some of the stuff..

Then again it is science and I was never good in that subject..

11/06/2011 - 6:39pm Coming from a "Wal-Mart

Coming from a "Wal-Mart Wolverine" this website is just pathetic..I don't find myself offended at all. The website only makes the Spartan fanbase look jealous and childish.

The majority of these pictures are people who seemingly are from low income families, obese or just plain old average people having a good time.

11/06/2011 - 6:07pm Whew

I know its a combonation of Brady's media approach and bad questions, but reading his presser is just painful.

10/18/2011 - 11:42am I have to disagree here, I

I have to disagree here, I think OSU could very well be the favorite, but certainly not dominant. They lost some good perimeter players. Of course, Craft and Sully will be a year older, but they will be missing some key players from last year, IMO

10/18/2011 - 11:38am I would really like to see

I would really like to see Morgan come out as the most improved player on the team..He has the size to be dominant but just needs some polishing up. His size will be needed on the defensive side of the ball when it comes to the B1G season.

If Hoke gets up there and complains, I will be ashamed. And I doubt Hoke will. Michigan failed to execute. Period. The "little brother" days are over.

10/15/2011 - 3:39pm Got beat.

Plain and simple. Yes Gholston (sp?) acted like a thug, but that doesn't matter to the computers.

Regroup and get back at it in 2 weeks, the BIGGEST rivalry game still lies ahead.

Much like the majority of the fanbase, I am more than willing to give him a break,I cheer for him when he comes off the field regardless of if it is down the middle or somewhere on the sidelines..

Still no one adressed my other post (see below, hit the wrong reply button), why would Hoke be using two kickers if he loves Gibbons so much and sees him netting 50+ yarders in practice? Neg away if you please, but this policy just so bizzare to me.

10/12/2011 - 5:16pm

That's my primary

That's my primary concern, the low flight path. That’s a legitmate concern going forward and has been discussed on here a few times. I just find it discomforting that Hoke claims to love having Gibbons as his kicker, but only inside 40 yards, IIRC. I mean, I can't see many ways how such a policy can be a confidence booster for a kicker who has struggled throughout his time at UM. So why not let Wile kick them all?

10/12/2011 - 4:28pm FGs

I appreciate Hoke's support for Gibbons and I completely understand that as coach he can't possibly get up there and say anything negative regarding a player..But it's pretty clear that Gibbons isn't going to cut it and Wile deserves his shot.

09/11/2011 - 10:47pm Two things I haven't heard much about..

1) I'd like to know what Hoke was in Devin's ear for also

2) The flyover was kinda disappointing in comparison to other big games. But then again, I imagine getting a couple fighter jets on the week of 9/11 isn't easy I bet..

06/24/2011 - 5:30pm I know...

06/10/2011 - 11:01pm Just one man's opinion..

I'm trying my best to like these..but I just can't. These are honestly one step ahead of OSU's kethcupbottle/usedtampon jerseys from last season. DB should have just stuck with the usual gameday jerseys or gone with a maize top (I know, I know go ahead and make your comment).  But really, a futuristic maize uniform under the lights would look awesome.

05/30/2011 - 10:11am I see a Hoke-like hire at

I see a Hoke-like hire at OSU. Not a top candidate (Meyer/JimHar.), miss out on the mid level guy (Dantonio, Pelini/Les Miles) but land a solid alumn with a decent track record at a smaller school(no idea who this would be).

Both Pelini and Dantonio have no reason to leave their programs. OSU could also possibly hire an assistant coach as head coach, depending on how this upcoming season plays out?

*I can't believe no one has responded with RR to the OP's question yet...edit nvm I did get beat in the process of typing this.

05/30/2011 - 9:58am Well said, took the words out

Well said, took the words out of mouth. I'm not sure any coaches are going to be beating down the door to fill that empty spot. The assistants might, but I certainly can't see any Urban Meyer, or even Meyer-like candidates lining up.

What a great day to celebrate but let's not get caught up in the excitement and forget the real reason today is a holiday.

05/02/2011 - 10:19am No RR jab intended but

I can't wait to see these young players develop and play some good old fashion 4-3 smash mouth Michigan defense with a veteran of the game like Mattison at the helm.

Welcome aboard Ross and go blue!

Thanks for the opinions guys, looks like I'll be cutting useless chew and coffee spending. Can't wait though.

04/26/2011 - 12:37am I actually feel bad for

I actually feel bad for Herbie. He's always been fair in his evaluations (good and bad) of OSU. He's put more heart and sweat into that Univeristy than 98% of  fans and the alumni of OSU ever did,and that's how he's treated?? Sure he was harsh with some words today, but he can obviously tell most OSU fans don't understand the seriousness of the matter and the damage it has permanetly done to the reputation of OSU.

Living in Ohio, I can tell you 90% of fans are just as rabid, blindly loyal, and pathetic as everyone makes them out to be. I mean just read some of these OSU blogs, half of the people there still haven't come to the fact that Tressel flat out lied and don't realize how low that makes the University look.
