RIP: Michigan Replay?

Submitted by MRG on

According to Angelique, Michigan Replay is kaput and will be replaced by a preview/player profile type show:

Personally, the thing I liked most about Michigan Replay was the theme song.  Unlike some of the other coaches shows on BTN, I never really gleaned anything useful from the rest of it.

I actually used the Michigan Replay song as part of my wedding reception....we had it play during the cake cutting. Awesome song. Not sure how they picked it.

Personally I always looked forward to Sunday mornings in the fall.......I especially liked to hear how many times Lloyd said "no question, Jim". To this day my brothers and I go arounds saying "no question" at every opportunity.

a lot of gravity as Brandsetter kept getting fatter and fatter.  That guy needs to opt for a salad from time to time.

It will be interesting to see what sort of relationship there is between RR and Brandy.  It was obvious that Brandy knew Bo, Mo and Lloyd well and it came across on tape.

one of the better aspects of the show the last few years was watching Lloyd fire his snarky glance at Brandy when he asked a typical inane question.

"It was the greatest thing I ever did professionally" Now that's just plain sad. Seriously. Michigan Replay had to be one of the worst coaches shows in the country. At least the worst coming from such a big time school as Michigan. The thing had a (I admit rather charming) cable access quality, but from Carr's nonsensical droning as the most important plays of the game rolled by to the lack of any analysis just made it a 30 min waste of time...unless on TIVO.
